There and back again

Simulacra has been busy these past few weeks...  Traveling around the country in search of clients and new experiences.  In addition to our traveling, John Fontana (our web developer) has been diligently working on the new Simulacra.com website...   Your new home for high end portrait photography ranging from children and babies to families and teens.   The biggest evolution of our site is the inclusion of our Wedding Photography portfolio.   Look for the new site to go live just before Christmas.

Below are some images from our recent photo shoots in various locations around the country.

Enjoy!

Road Trip

Yesterday, Simulacra hit the road on a photographic odyssey.   A 14 day road trip mixing business with pleasure.

Our first destination, Indianapolis, IN and a job shooting 6 month old Henry (and his parents).  We actually traveled to Knightstown, IN in search of the gymnasium where the Hickory Huskers (from the movie Hoosiers) played basketball.  Mission accomplished.  Those images are going to need a little massaging because of all the mixed light sources, but below is a shot from outside the gym.

Henry was having an off day, but we were able to capture some good smiles.   All-in-all, I think that Henry's parents are going to be happy with the final product!

Next up, St. Louis on Thursday to photograph Jude and his parents.
